Mary Eberlein, LCSW

Some things in life you can prepare for. Others arrive without warning and change everything - a diagnosis, a death, a relationship that's coming apart, a life that looks different than the one you planned.
If you're carrying something heavy, you're in the right place.
I'm Mary Eberlein, a therapist in Austin, TX. I work with individuals and couples navigating serious illness, grief and loss, and the relationship patterns that shape our lives. My background also includes hospice work, which means that if you or someone you love is facing a terminal diagnosis, I understand that terrain - and I'm not afraid of it.
Who I work with...
People facing a loss - a death, a divorce, a diagnosis, a version of life they didn't choose.
Caregivers managing the weight of loving someone who is seriously ill: the exhaustion, the impossible decisions, the conflict, the loneliness of it.
Couples who've hit a wall and want to find their way back to each other.
Adults navigating a major life transition - a career change, an identity shift, a sense that something in their life is no longer working.
People working through relationship patterns and family wounds that have followed them for years, sometimes without fully understanding why.

If any of this sounds like where you are, I'd love to talk. I offer a free 15-minute consultation - no pressure, just a chance to see if we're a good fit.
